A roof will collapse if the last supporting wall or rock is removed whether by mining deconstruction or destruction. So i try to remove the mountain roofs so they don t collapse by declareing a no roof area but on some tiles it will never be possible to declare that area and if i let the roof collapse and remove the debris it just collapses again presumably forever since i tried removing it 15 times and it still collapsed.
