If you removed 2 entire walls and the corner between those two sides last then that roof was too far away from any other supports. Better to remove as much roof as you can when mining then supporting what you cant. This was a big help because at least i now know that roofs need support and if you have large sections without any walls doors it might not be able to support a roof.
